Our MadeOn products went viral on Facebook recently.
Okay, not really. But here’s the story:
Christina is an online friend who became an “in real life” friend in July. They visited us while on a road trip from Maryland to California.
Recently, she tagged me on Facebook with this message:
“Look what my friend at church pulled out of her purse when I mentioned our visit to your family this past summer. Apparently, you have some fans in Gaithersburg, MD!! She was so impressed that I know you, lol!”
That was cool. But it got better.
Her friend Kelly commented, “What?? I have Bee Silk and a couple lip balms too! Are you a personal friend of the woman behind them??”
And then Jessica: “We have used her products! So cool!”
“I have that too!” wrote Amanda.
And then Jenny: “Wow! I have a canister of this by my kitchen sink!”
#best2017FacebookPostYet (that’s me… thinking out loud…)
It makes me so grateful for all the many people who have given our products a shot. To convince you to try a lotion bar or hair product that:
works better than what you’ve used before…
is handmade by some unknown family in California…
has fewer than 5 ingredients…
is so natural that it’s edible…
That’s a challenge!
But from Christina’s post, mission accomplished. And I am so glad that whatever means we used to get the message to you, you took us up on it and tried it out.
Hmmm…. (me again… thinking…)
I wonder what my other customers look like in person. I interact daily, by email, with people who use our products. Every now and then I get a birthday photo, but I’d love to see more of you. And hear from you. I want to know what product you use on your own skin or hair.
Better yet. I want a picture! Of you, with your favorite MadeOn product.
Would you do that for me? It’d be the best present ever.
If you took a selfie holding your MadeOn product, I’d share it with my friends. I’d use it on my website. I’d probably even start a customer cork board on my office wall.
Here’s one that Jenny took of her husband Mike:

Thanks in advance! 🙂

P.S. Because Christina and I met through our sons, what was really funny was the exchange between the two of them on the Facebook post. Here’s a snapshot:
