If Charlie Brown bought MadeOn skin care products for the Peanuts gang…

Have you seen the new Peanuts movie?
My family and I just returned from the theater after watching the cute Charlie Brown production of Peanuts. It got me thinking… if I were Charlie Brown, I bet I could come up with the perfect MadeOn product for each of the Peanuts Gang.
The basic plot of the movie features Charlie Brown as the main character, working through his own insecurities in order to reveal his feelings for the Little Red-Haired Girl who just moved in across the street. If you grew up on Peanuts like I did, you know that all the supporting characters have very distinct personalities who probably remind you of a few people in your own life. So watch as I put together a Christmas gift-giving guide for Charlie Brown, because the poor lad needs a little extra help thanking all his friends who have helped him along his journey of finally attracting the attention of the Little Red-Haired girl.
Let’s begin with the main attraction in Charlie Brown’s life, since she’s his obvious obsession right now:
The Little Red-Haired Girl: we primarily only see the back of her head throughout the film, but Charlie Brown could woo her over with MadeOn’s Copper Glow Tinted Lip Balm. This shade is perfect for red-heads who enjoy wearing brown and beige. It’s not a “Look at me! I’m wearing lipstick!” (so it’s mom-approved for a girl this age), yet has that subtle mica-glitter that the young (and young at heart) love. She’ll notice you if you give her this, Charlie Brown!
Snoopy as a friend: Aw, Snoopy is such a faithful friend. He’s out there teaching Charlie Brown how to dance, he’s there to encourage him to ring the Little Red-Haired Girl’s doorbell, and he’s an over-all Mr. Fix-it when it comes to mending Charlie Brown’s broken heart. Charlie Brown should supply Snoopy with Beesilk … it’s the product that becomes the cure-all for so many issues, from basic dry skin, to small cuts, to overworked hands that spend hours at the typewriter pushing out manuscripts after making it past “It was a dark and stormy night…”
Snoopy as the Flying Ace: When Snoopy moves into his own pretend world of acting as a World War I Flying Ace to defeat the Red Baron and win the heart of a poodle named Fifi, it’s time to shop for the product that will clean and then nourish his hard-working mechanic’s hands: Mechanic’s Soap will do just that. While you’re at it, Charlie Brown, The Flying Ace needs a little gift for Fifi to remind her of their short flight through France: an Au Chocolat lip balm will be just the right amount of chocolate to attract any woman (-er, poodle). (It’s pronounced “Oh-sho-coh-lah”, if he needs to impress her.)
Sally, Charlie Brown’s little sister: Sally looks up to her big brother, and when he becomes Mr. Popular among his peers, she’s right there to support him (and make a little money from it). She enjoys the glam of being in the spotlight, so Charlie needs to stock his sister up with Vanilla Dust Lip Balm. This lip balm attracts attention, both by its warm vanilla scent and by the light glitter that is noticed by anyone who walks within a few feet of her.
Lucy: It’s very tempting to skip over Lucy because she’s usually so mean to Charlie Brown. But let’s face it, her 5-cent psychiatric advice does push Charlie Brown to work harder than ever to get over his insecurities. Unlike Charlie Brown, Lucy is someone who can’t stand being upstaged by anyone or anything. Get Lucy a bar of Lavender Swirl – it’s a beautiful bar of soap that also enjoys taking the stage to show off her natural color (from red beet powder!) and beauty.
Frieda: Naturally curly hair needs Second Life Hair Butter to tame those beautiful locks. That was easy.
Peppermint Patty: I would normally suggest Bug Block because Patty is such an outdoorsy gal, but since MadeOn doesn’t stock that during the winter, go for the Chocolate Mint Lip Balm. It smells just like a York Peppermint Pattie.
Marcie: she’s such a smart girl and she probably got that way by reading constantly. Get her a Coffee Soap to keep the energy up and the candle burning long through the night while she flips page after page of her library books.
Linus: the blanket-toting younger brother of Lucy had a hard time waking up to his alarm clock. Maybe a bath with MadeOn’s Lavender Soap (the one without the swirl… currently out of stock but should be back in by the end of next week) the night before would have ensured him a good night’s sleep. Lavender is calming. Grab an extra soap for Pig-Pen while you’re at it, for obvious reasons (or maybe stock up on Milk & Honey soap, plenty available at the moment).
Schroeder: the Beethoven-loving Schroeder, with his precocious skill at playing the piano, needs the sophistication of Au Chocolat hard lotion to smooth over those fingers that fly over the keyboard when he plays his music. He’ll appreciate the lotion on the playing field, too. It’s not easy to be a catcher when Charlie Brown is on the pitcher’s mound (said with all due respect, Charlie Brown!).
If you saw this movie, reply and let me know what MadeOn product you think Charlie Brown deserves.
Enjoy your weekend!

MadeOn Skin Care
P.S. If you’re looking for a fantastic, family-favorite movie to take your kids to, I recommend the Peanuts movie. It was a slow start, but once it picked up, it was purely enjoyable. The screenwriters kept to the spirit of the original Peanuts films (maybe because Charles Schulz’s son, Craig, and Craig’s son Cornelius, were screenwriters?), and the music perfectly complemented the scenes. I give it a thumb’s up! (watch the trailer here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVR4E6Q6u5g )
