Are you like me that when you see a guy with fingers that have cuts or splits, you go a little nuts that he won’t fix that problem? He’ll survive, but it just looks painful.
Man, they’re everywhere. But the solution is so simple.
I can’t really speak up… but YOU can. Because he’s your husband. Or your dad. Or even your son.
He’s tried the pump lotion, he works around his patchwork of Band-aids, and the other stuff he’s tried is too goopy and gets in the way of his job.
And yet, to get him to try something new, it’s got to be packaged in black, wrapped in a steel container, and have a name like Gorilla or Grit as part of the name. Guys like him don’t really like womanly advice. I get that. They don’t necessarily want to smell like lavender.
One of my MadeOn friends described her family like this:
I’m looking for healthy, simple skin care products and recipes. My son has eczema and both my husband and I work in the healthcare field, which takes a toll on our hands from the frequent hand washing. So anything that may help with eczema or dry hands is something that I am interested in.
So aside from a prescription medication, how can we get our guys on board with a natural skin care product?
Men like to be challenged. Why not just suggest it, saying that a bar of lotion has helped other men. Need some references? I pulled these from the reviews on our website:
Catherine: My husband suffers from dry hands, his fingertips split, and are very painful. Needless to say, he has seen a dermatologist, used Rx & over the counter creams, none really worked. He tried BeeSilk, and it’s getting better, and his fingertips don’t hurt anymore!
Allie: The hard lotion is working very well for my husband’s “kitchen hands”. He works in an industrial kitchen and as a janitor, so his hands take a beating. He’s almost used the whole bar already so we will either be reordering or ordering a kit.
Deborah: My husband works in a hospital so he has to wash his hands about 30 times a day. The Bee Silk works wonders.
