Do you remember your first car?
Mine was a 1982 Toyota Corolla. I sold it too soon when a shinier car with more bells and whistles came along.
My son recently bought his first vehicle: a 1971 Jeep.
I told him his Jeep is as old as his mother.
Two things happen when you buy a vehicle as old as your mom: 1.) you have to figure out what the previous owners have done to it to fix it, improve it, MacGyver it, and get it to run. 2.) your hands get really, really dirty.
I can’t help him with #1, but I do have an answer for #2:
This soap is special because my soap maker who makes it is not only a hardworking, goat-milking, soap-making mama herself, but she’s also a chemist and she made sure that this soap will CLEAN that grease right off a mechanic’s hands, without stripping hands of their natural, moisturizing oils. Her recipe is well thought out.
According to Regina, “Mechanic’s soap contains 100% fir needle essential oil. Fresh, woodsy and fragrant, we combine the oil with real, pulverized pine needles for an intense exfoliating effect. Pine essential oil is a centuries old cleanser with antiseptic properties. This soap is designed to remove grease and embedded grime on hardworking hands. Ditch the harsh pumice and lava soaps for a more natural but equally effective soap that won’t dry out your hands.”
Michelle in Marysville, CA: This is not only for mechanics, but my UPS husband’s pores get filled with dirt and grime from the road and packages. He says it works great! Will buy again!
Kendra in Eugene, OR: I used to have to use a scrub brush to get paint off me. With this soap, no scrub brush required!
Ann in Wellsville, NY: This is wonderful for getting hands clean and has a great scent too! And it leaves hands soft. 🙂
Ingredients: Raw goat milk, natural goat milk butterfat, coconut oil, olive oil, palm oil, castor oil, shea butter, pulverized real pine needles, honey, fir needle essential oil and vitamin E.
As for #2: Are you curious about the rest of the story? Did my son get the Jeep-as-old-as-his-mom to run? Where did he go for help? I’ll tell you that, plus give you a few skin care, problem-solving tips I learned by watching him… in the next post.
